St. FX dietetic intern Jill Macdonald, working with the Cape Breton Food Hub this summer was interviewed on Information Morning - Cape Breton with Steve Sutherland on CBC radio, she talked about: Busting the myth that local food is always more expensive. Launching the Food Hub’s brand new Community Meal Program- affordable, homemade meals for anyone who could use one (or wants to share with a neighbour). Seasonal food demos featuring local gems like fiddleheads and microgreens. Listening to our community through surveys and needs assessments.
