Slow-Roasted Crispy Pork Belly

This simple pork belly recipe delivers tender meat and perfectly crispy skin with just a few basic ingredients. Slow-roasting allows the fat to render while keeping the meat juicy, making it an easy yet impressive dish for any home cook.

Ingredients:

  • 250g pork belly (skin on, if possible)

  • 1 tsp olive oil

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp pepper

  • Optional (choose any or combine)

    • ¼ tsp smoked paprika

2.      Season

  • Rub olive oil all over the pork belly.

  • Mix the salt, pepper and any optional seasonings you’d like to use. Rub the seasoning mix on both sides of the meat.

  • At 300 for 1.5 hours, then at 425 for 25 mins to crisp.

4.      Rest

  • 5 mins, slice and serve.
